Introducing… Shaun Morris!
Born and raised in Shepparton Victoria, and then spending a short time in Melbourne as part of his Victorian Institute of Sport Scholarship, you could say Shaun picked up and moved to the Gold Coast at 17 years of age before it was cool.
Shaun has only been a part of the team at MBA for 3 years, but over this short tenure he has completed his CA and now heads up our Coolangatta team. Our clients love his ability to look at the whole picture and rely on him for not only accounting expertise but his effective business structure advice.
Outside helping his clients, Shaun’s other passion is cycling. At the age of 16 he took out the junior Australian Cycling championship, and again at 18. In 2005 Shaun went to the Australian Youth Olympics Festival and at 21 shot off to the USA to chase his dreams, racing with a team for six months.
Shaun’s cycling has also taken him to France, in particular the South of France, a place he loves for its history, food, culture and of course – the cycling!
On the weekends you’ll find Shaun cycling around Northern NSW, enjoying coffee at Portside Coffee in Currumbin or hitting the beach with his wife, daughter and their adorable Beagleier Emily (aka Em Dog).
